    Chinese knockoff V/s Craftella

Craftella is built with high-quality stainless steel and a durable steel spring, giving you a stronger, more reliable tool designed to last.

Cheap knockoffs often use plastic components and lower-quality materials, making them more prone to bending, breaking, and wearing out over time.

    Crafted with Care

Each loom is made from carefully selected quality hardwood and finished by hand for a smooth, durable feel. Natural variations in the wood make every piece unique—giving you a beautiful, reliable tool designed to be used for years.

Craftella: Built for years of use.

    Knockoffs: Built to be replaced.

      YOU ASKED

      We answered

      check_box

      How does it work?

Our patch maker holds your fabric in place while you weave thread back and forth to create a strong, knitted patch. Simply stretch the fabric over the disc and start weaving with the help of the 14 hooks at the top. By going over and under each vertical thread, you create an interlocking structure that holds the patch securely in place.

      check_box

How big can you make the patches?

You can create patches up to 2 × 2 inches (5.2 × 5.2 cm) when using all 16 top hooks. Using fewer hooks allows you to make smaller patches as needed.

      check_box

On which fabrics does it work?

It works on a wide variety of fabrics. For beginners, we recommend starting with slightly thicker, softer materials such as knitwear, as they are easier to work with and provide better control.

      check_box

      Is the patch washable?

Yes, patches are machine washable and made to last. Once secured, the patch is strong enough for regular wear and normal washing. No special care is required.

      check_box

How long does one patch take?

It depends on the size and pattern selected. On average, one patch takes approximately 15–30 minutes to complete.

      check_box

      What threads to use?

Most threads and yarns will work well. For best results, we recommend using slightly thicker thread or yarn, as it fills the area more evenly and creates a stronger, cleaner finish.

      check_box

How hard is it to learn?

There is a small learning curve at first, but with the help of the detailed instructions and the included video tutorials, most users find it easy to learn and get comfortable quickly.

Craftella saved a sweater I thought was a goner. I used it on a pair of my son's jeans with a knee hole and the instructions walked me through every step clearly. Also, the patch came out looking almost invisible. On top of that, the patch held up perfectly through the wash. It's just a great little tool overall.

      Fantastic little hobby kit

Didn't think I'd actually finish a patch on my first try, but I did. I used it on an heirloom sweater from my mom and it only took about 20 minutes once I got the hang of it. Also, the included thread was more than enough to finish the patch. On top of that, the instructions walked me through every step clearly. Highly recommend if you have clothes worth saving.

      Game changer for fixing clothes

This little Craftella kit saved a sweater I thought was a goner. I used it on my husband's favorite flannel and my kids wanted to try it too once they saw the result. Also, it's such a relaxing little hobby to sit down and do. On top of that, the patch came out looking almost invisible. It's just a great little tool overall.

      Setup was effortless

Wasn't sure I'd actually be able to do this, but it turned out great. I used it on my favorite sweater that had a moth hole and the video tutorials made it super easy to follow along. Also, the patch came out looking almost invisible. On top of that, my kids wanted to try it too once they saw the result. So happy I finally gave mending a try.

      Great little tool

This has become a relaxing little hobby for me. I used it as a first project to learn how it works and the included thread was more than enough to finish the patch. Also, the patch came out looking almost invisible. On top of that, it felt so satisfying to actually save the sweater instead of tossing it. Can't wait to patch my next piece.

      Perfect for beginners

I used it on my daughter's school sweater and the 16 hooks made the weaving really straightforward. Also, it's compact enough that I can bring it anywhere. On top of that, the latch hook made weaving each row so much faster. Genuinely impressed with how well it works.

      Exceeded my expectations

I have zero sewing experience and still nailed my first patch with this Craftella kit. I used it on a pair of leggings with a small tear and my kids wanted to try it too once they saw the result. Also, the patch held up perfectly through the wash. On top of that, it was so much easier than I expected with zero sewing experience. Would 100% buy again.

      Simple and handy

This little kit saved a sweater I thought was a goner. I used it on my work sweater that got caught on something and the patterns gave me some fun options to try. Also, the finished patch actually looks intentional, almost decorative. On top of that, the wood and steel build feels really sturdy. This is staying in my craft drawer for good.
